Kalachakra in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India from January 1 to 10: During the first three days of the Kalachakra, from January 1 to 3, 2012, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, along with the monks of Namgyal Monastery and senior lamas, will conduct rituals which prepare and consecrate the venue. These include chanting of prayers, creation of the sand mandala and other rituals. On the afternoon of January 1, His Holiness will give a teaching which the public is welcome to attend. Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas (laklen sodunma) & Khunu Lama Tenzin Gyaltsen's Jewel Lamp: A Praise of Bodhicitta (jangchup sem kyi toepa rinchen drolma). On January 7, the Kalachakra Ritual Dance will be performed by the monks of Namgyal Monastery. His Holiness will confer the Kalachakra Initiation from January 8 -10. On January 10 morning, after the conclusion of the Kalachakra Initiaion, a long life empowerment (
